When beginning a journey into the unknown, or unfavourable, one item can always be with you. The Kay Michaels has been a pivotal part of history here at BODA HQ, and we wanted to integrate that history with the documented journey of the Crazy 8 biker crew, with the classic BODA silhouette taking a journey into the frozen-abyss.

This season’s Kay Michaels has been elevated whilst we continue on our sustainability journey. Produced by a certified Leather Working Group Tannery as well as being produced in one of the world's leading green leather manufacturers and constructed from certified 100% Goats Chrome Free Leather known for it's ultra softness, lightweight and durable qualities. Each garment has been individually hand painted to give a crafted, unique antique touch while being inspired by the frosted influences it strives to capture. Whilst using certified organic cotton and AZO free lining with signature padded details tapping into the world of outdoor exploration inspired by the Crazy 8’s. Our hardware has been upgraded with a specialist premium brushed white bronze finish, bringing the finer details to life with extra durability.

BODA SKINS founder, and CEO, Nathan Alexander explained his connection to the jacket, mentioning that this reimagined Kay Michaels is his view of the present moment. With life being suspended and temporarily frozen in time, he wanted to capture this moment to ensure that, when spring comes, we never forget the pain and growth that only a cold winter can bring.
